Peace Peace Peace is a soul-soothing monolexical song sung by me. It carries a hypnotic calm that gently dissolves thought and time as you listen to it on loop.

I recorded this alone in a closed room, with my eyes closed. In that stillness, I was simply humming the word Peace. Little did I know that I was tapping into the hidden repetitive power of the word – PEACE.

When a song is sung in such a state of mindfulness, its vibration carries the presence of Peace with my voice becoming the very peace I sang of.

In these two years, there were times when working for peace did weigh heavy on me. Today, as a fragile Peace gingerly returns to the middle east, simply humming Peace feels like a huge release.

This song captures the delicate melting point when those who fought and those who longed for peace – both weary of the tug and pull of the divisive energies, finally find themselves on the same page, on the same fence – welcoming peace.
