Personal Peace Practices | June, 2026
Small practices in our daily behaviour can make a big difference in our personal lives. Join us in this month-long journey of celebrating a series of such practices.
The Ultimate Practice: Just Existing
We wrap up our Personal Peace Practices with perhaps the ultimate practice of all: just existing.
Man is constantly thinking, processing, responding, and absorbing the emotions and events of others.
But, a time comes when you have no energy even to react, respond, or deal with the world, and all you want is just Peace.
Like the birds and animals who simply fly, eat, drink, rest, and live in the present. Sometimes, that's all I want to do, too.
To sit quietly, watching the sky, clouds. To greet the sunrise, the moon, and the stars. To enjoy a cup of tea or coffee, a warm bath, my favourite meal, music..
A bird doesn't apologize for resting. The sky doesn't apologize for being cloudy one day and clear the next.
We don't have to constantly prove our worth through productivity or achievement. We don't need to apologize for needing peace, solitude, or a break from the world's demands.
Your existence has value even when you are not "doing" anything.
Just-let-it-be Day | 25 June 2026
Today, we are celebrating a serene Just-Let-It-Be Day. No forcing, fixing, or overthinking…just allowing things to be the way they are – just for today.
Protecting our Peace
What if rest is your highest contribution now? | 22 June 2026
In these times of accelerated growth and higher awareness, powerful solar and magnetic forces are at work.
As old energies dissolve and higher consciousness emerges, your body needs time to integrate these changes.
That's why rest is becoming just as important as work.
So, work only when you feel inspired, joyful, creative, and genuinely excited to express your highest self. That is the kind of contribution the world needs most right now.
Trusting God | 17 June, 2026
I have seen numerous miracles of God making the impossible possible. So much of peace we lose in getting sad and distraught when things don't go our way.
But, trusing the Creator to work His magic in our lives makes the impossible possible. And when God makes it happen, you know that this only God could have done.
Tolerance Day | 11 June, 2026
Tolerance is more than putting up with those we dislike. It's about having tons of patience with those who are different from us.
Because once this life gets over, we realise we all spring from the same Source & nobody is a permanent enemy.
The Story of Abraham & the Unbeliever by Saadi Shirazi
According to a Persian parable, Abraham never ate a meal without first inviting a stranger to share it.
One evening, Abraham welcomed an elderly traveler to share a meal with him. Before eating, Abraham noticed that the man did not pray or invoke God.
When asked about his faith, the traveler replied that he was a fire-worshipper.
Disturbed by this, Abraham drove the old man away into the night.
Then God told Abraham: "I have borne with him for seventy years and provided for him all this time. Could you not bear with him for a single night?"
Realizing his mistake, Abraham brought him back, and treated him with kindness and hospitality.
If God can show tolerance for one man for 70 years surely we can do the same!
World peace begins when personal peace is practiced daily.
Soft Spoken Day | 10 June, 2026
We hope the world got a bit more softer as we observed Soft Spoken Day.
Speak softly even with your enemies
When God sent Moses and Aaron to confront Pharaoh—a tyrant—He told them: Surah Ta-Ha (20:44): "And speak to him with gentle speech that perhaps he may be reminded or fear (God)."
If God can be so gentle even with enemies, how gentle should we be to each other?
