Ever wondered why people open up after drinking?
Here is a spiritual perspective. Kabbalists point out that the Hebrew word for wine, Yayin (יין), and the Hebrew word for secret, Sod (סוד) – both have the sme numerical value of 70.
Hence, the famous saying: "When wine enters, the secret comes out."
Build the vessel, then receive the Light
Intoxicants temporarily offer a glimpse into higher states.
True elevation happens when a soul rises through inner work, purpose, discipline, & transformation.
What is a high?
Most people who consume alchohol and drugs commonly experience what we call a ‘high’. But what is this high? Spiritually, it is an artificially enduced higher state of consciousness.
But why do they crash in higher states?
Let's understand how a light bulb functions. A light bulb has a positive pole, a negative pole, and a filament that separates preventing the current from the positive directly connecting with the negative.
When the filament breaks the positive connects directly with the negative. What happens is short circuit, a bright flash of light followed by total darkness.
This is exactly what happens with intoxicants. According to Kabbalah, substances elevate the soul into higher spiritual frequencies.
But without the proper spiritual vessel to handle that raw power, you connect directly to higher energy forces that are too strong for you.
The result? People crash out! Or in other words like the light bulb they short circuit.
Souls in higher realms are always in high spirits. Is it any wonder that alchohol is also called spirit?
Do what your soul came here to do & become
When I first launched a One-Minute Silence for Peace campaign, I shared it across all the major social media channels.
That evening, after the one minute silence concluded, I felt a deep shift within me.
I kept roaming the house wondering what's happening to me? It took a while to comprehend and accept the feeling of bliss.
Those who takes subsances experience the high, but without the awareness to understand & process the same.
The ultimate high is not found in substances, but in doing the work you came here to do and becoming the person your soul came here to be.
